(But not over torque too much this may cause broken screws) Very important or this plate will be noisy and not secure for driving!!!! The spec of mounting bolts is M1030. If you feel concerned about security, you can swap those standard screws for tamper-proof bolts (Not included in our listing). The shield blocks access to the catalytic converters from underneath your truck. Strategically placed heat extraction holes allow for proper ventilation of the exhaust area.
